Before You Apply for Jobs, Read This

I help stay-at-home moms overcome their fear about getting back into the workforce.

Because going back to work is so much more than just finding a job.

Hi Reader,

Do you ever wonder what intuitive coaching is?

Well friend, you are in luck because that is exactly what we got into this week on the podcast!

Angie was in the house! (she actually is every week because she is the co-host 😉) and she explained how she uses intuitive coaching to help women create their own transformations.

This fits so well with what we talk about here at Back to Work because going back to work is a transformation in and of itself.

At the core of it, Angie helps people understand how they think, what matters to them, and what’s actually aligned for them, instead of forcing themselves into situations that never really fit.

Angie uses tools like tarot and oracle cards, astrology, numerology, and coaching frameworks to build a “blueprint” of a person. Not to label them, but to help them say, “Oh… this makes sense. This is me.” And once you understand that, you can stop second-guessing every decision and start making choices that feel more grounded.

For moms going back to work, this really matters. Because it’s not just about getting a job. It’s about finding a role, an environment, and a company that don’t constantly work against who you are.

In this week's episode we talk about:

Paying attention to how an environment feels to you

Notice how your body reacts when you think about work options. When you picture a job, an interview, or a workplace, do you feel settled or tense? Pulled toward it or pushed away? That reaction matters more than you think.

Understanding your values (family-first is a big one for a lot of moms)

Get clear on your non-negotiables before you job search. Instead of only asking “What am I qualified for?”, ask "Does this job/role align with my values?"

Realizing that past “false starts” weren’t failures; they were building blocks

Reframe your past attempts. If you’ve tried things before that didn’t stick (a job, a role, even a side hustle) try looking at them as information instead of mistakes. What did they teach you about yourself?

If you are at all curious about Angie's work, You can find her at Aligned Tarot. You don’t have to have it all figured out; you just need a place to start.

In your corner, always,

Carrie
