This Might Be Why You’re So Tired

I help stay-at-home moms overcome their fear about getting back into the workforce.

Because going back to work is so much more than just finding a job.

Reader,

Tell me if this sounds familiar.

“If I ask for help, it means I can’t handle it.”

We’ve all been there. Feeling like asking for help means we’re somehow less capable, or worse, failing.

But here’s the truth - you are capable. It’s just that doing everything is too much for one person.

If you’re juggling work, kids, the house, and trying to remember what you actually enjoy it’s no wonder you feel stretched thin.

That doesn’t make you weak. It makes you human.

Here are three ways to start shaking loose the belief that asking for help means you’re not enough:

1. Redefine what “capable” means

Being capable doesn’t mean doing it all yourself. It means making sure it gets done in a way that works. Maybe that’s asking your partner to handle bedtime, hiring a cleaner once a month, or letting your kids take over a few chores (even if it’s not perfect).

2. Try saying, “I can, but I’m not going to.”

You can do the dishes, fold the laundry, plan the meals… but that doesn’t mean you have to do it all. Start saying “I can do that, but I’m not going to.” It’s freeing and I promise, the world won’t fall apart.

3. Ask for help like a boss

Smart people ask for help. Truly. Start with something that’s been draining your energy and see how it feels to hand it off. The goal isn’t to prove you can do it all; it’s to make space for the things that actually matter to you.

You don’t need permission, but if it helps, I'll give it anyway.😉

If you're ready to talk through what this looks like in your life then get on my calendar and we’ll figure out where you can start lightening the load.

In your corner, always,

Carrie
